Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the adoption of the concepts of ISO 55000 standard in a hospital biomedical context. It focuses on a case study with a qualitative content analysis of life cycle management practices of a CT scanner (Computed Tomography scanner) in a Quebec public hospital. The results of this analysis show that there are consubstantial paradigms in hospital settings which are like ''modelators'' that distinguishe the approach of application of the ISO 55000 standard concepts for the management of hospital biomedical physical assets.
